LYVAwFVATZFIW Since it's part of the same series, the same setup laippes to the Axis M1031-W camera. I chose this model because of it's integrated passive infrared-sens(o)r. This is unneccesary for a public webcam, but I plan to use my cam for home security. Therefore I appreciate the more reliable intrusion detection by the PIR-sensor over simple motion detection. If you don't need this feature nor the HD-resolution of an M1054, the M1011(-W) is the way to go. These cams provide some extras over the cheaper ip-cams from D-link or Foscam as H.264-Streaming for reduced bandwith consumption on your network or rather sophisticated trigger automation. On the long run these advantages will become outdated when cloud services as sensr.net will provide more and more powerful and intelligent services over the internet. |
